For suppliers

Upload your catalogue in one pass.

A real catalogue is not typed in. Export the CSV, change the cells that moved, dry-run the upload to see what would happen, then upload for real. This guide walks through it and explains every column.

Poster for suppliers: Your prices inside real estimates, with sample estimate lines marked as your offer

Five steps.

  1. 1

Sign in and open Offers & pricing

From your supplier workspace, open Offers & pricing, then Bulk import & export. You need a verified supplier organisation; verification is done by the Modern GBQ team after you register.

  2. 2

    Export the CSV

Export CSV gives you every current offer, ordered by product variant then market. It is the template: the import file has exactly the export file's shape, so a round trip needs no re-formatting. With no offers yet, it gives you the headings.

  3. 3

    Edit in your spreadsheet

Change prices and dates in the cells that moved. A row that matches one of your existing offers (variant code, market code, offer code) updates its commercial terms; a row that matches nothing creates a new Draft offer. Dates are written yyyy-MM-dd. Prices are ex GST.

  4. 4

    Dry-run the upload

Leave Dry run ticked for the first pass. Every row goes through the same checks and the report says, row by row, Would create, Would update or the exact reason a row fails. Nothing is written, so a mistake costs you nothing.

  5. 5

    Upload, then publish

Untick Dry run and upload again to apply. New offers arrive as Drafts: publish them from the offers table or the workspace queue. An offer prices estimate lines only while it is published and in date.

The columns.

One row is one offer: your price for one product variant in one market and currency.

Upload questions.

Can I price any product in the catalogue?

No. A row for an existing product that is not listed under your business is refused, just as the on-screen form refuses it. You price your own products; a product nobody owns yet can be created by the import as a Draft under your organisation.

Why was my row set aside with a warning?

Every price passes the same check before it can price an estimate line: the unit must be the unit the item is measured in, and the figure should sit within a band around the item's usual rate where it has one. A price per box for an item measured per square metre is what the check catches. Correct it, or raise a Support ticket if the figure is right.

Do my quotes change when I upload new prices?

Edits apply from the next estimate priced. Estimates already priced keep the figures they were priced with, so history stays honest on both sides.

How many products can I list?

That depends on your plan: Listed is free once verified with up to five listed products (a product with at least one published, in-date offer); Silver, Gold and Platinum list more. Uploading more rows than your plan allows leaves the extra offers as Drafts until a place is free.

Where do I download the template?

From Offers & pricing in your supplier workspace, once you are signed in: Export CSV. The export is the template.
